Yes. The Gyirong/Rasuwagadhi border is currently the official open port for overland travel between Nepal and Tibet. It is used for both group tours and pilgrims heading to Kailash. We will assist with all entry formalities on both sides.
3. Do I need a Tibet Travel Permit and Visa to enter Tibet from Nepal?
Yes. Travelers entering Tibet from Nepal must obtain:

Group Visa (Chinese Visa issued in Kathmandu)
